Spinray is designed to permanently store carbon dioxide from emitting sources such as power stations and cement works. The greenhouse gases are fixed and deposited as carbonates underground, permanently storing them. Power stations and industry are by far the highest cause of world greenhouse gas emissions, the primary cause of climate change. Our aim is to capture and reduce these emissions to be a solution to combat global warming. |
 |  | | Global warming is the greatest threat facing mankind. Its climate change consequences are already affecting every region of the world and the problems created are set to get worse, year on year, as temperatures continue to rise. The increase in the planet’s temperature is caused by increasing levels of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere which are the product of the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and oil.
